This is a roadhouse sign from the 1940s. It admonishes customers not to dance, as their “licence” doesn’t allow it. Note that “licence” is an incorrect spelling! This rare sign is black lettered on white painted silver metal. It has grime, scratching, some denting, and paint loss totally consistent with age. Two holes for hanging or nailing.
